2019 WB Roughstock Futurity & Rodeo

September 7, 2019

2019 marks the 2nd annual WB Roughstock Futurity & Rodeo. This is a chance for contractors to show off their roughstock and an opportunity for spectators to get a rare look at the up and coming rodeo stars.

Here's the Who, What, When, and Where for

entrants, vendors, and spectators:

Entrants:

Dummy classes start at 8 AM

2 yr old dummy horses. $200 entry. $1,000 added. 

3 yr old dummy horses. $250 entry. $1,000 added.

2 yr old dummy bulls. $300 entry. $1,000 added. 

Rider classes start at 4:30 PM

4&5 yr old Bareback horses. $300 entry. $2,000 added.

4&5 yr old Saddle Bronc horses. $300 entry. $2,000 added.

3 yr old bulls. $400 entry. $2,000 added.

4 yr old bulls. $500 entry. $2,000 added.

Cowboys. $100 entry. $1,000 added. 

Additional association and office fees may apply.

80% payout with prizes to class winners.

For horse entries please sign up at the World Futurity Association.

For bull entries please sign up at Western States Bucking Bull Association.

Futurity and Rodeo will be held at the Wheatland County Rodeo Grounds in Harlowton, MT. 

​

Local lodging in Harlowton includes the Country Side Inn, Corral Motel, or FREE campsites with hookups at the Wheatland County Fairgrounds.  The Super 8 in Big Timber (approx. 45 miles from arena) is offering a special room rate for the futurity. Just mention Whiskey Bent when booking your room. Please contact Patricia at 406.733.5163 if you need help locating accommodations.

Friday night, Sept. 6th, is the contractors appreciation supper at the Wheatland County Fairgrounds. Settle your animals in and come fill your belly, meet your event producers, and pick up your contractors' packets. 6pm cocktail hour with 7pm supper. FREE for contractors and their families. 

​

Bring your own water tanks and feed. Water on site.

Vendors:

If you are interested in being a food or merchandise vendor please call Patricia at 406.733.5163 or email whiskeybentincmt@gmail.com. Booth rates are VERY reasonable. The evening performance is ticketed and will offer a stellar crowd to promote your merchandise, artwork, or delicious vittles.

Tickets are available for sale at multiple locations in Harlowton and White Sulphur Springs or at our

Whiskey Bent, Inc. online store.
