WB ROUGHSTOCK FUTURITY SEPT 8TH

Saddle Broncs, Bareback Horses, Bucking Bulls, and Roughstock Cowboys

2018 marks the first annual WB Roughstock Futurity. This is a chance for contractors to show off their roughstock and an opportunity for spectators to get a rare look at the up and coming rodeo stars.

Here's the Who, What, When, and Where for entrants, vendors, and spectators:

Entrants:

Dummy classes start at 8 AM

2 yr old dummy horses. $200 entry. $1,000 added. 

3 yr old dummy horses. $250 entry. $1,000 added.

2 yr old dummy bulls. $300 entry. $1,000 added. 

Rider classes start at 7 PM

4&5 yr old Bareback horses. $300 entry. $2,000 added.

4&5 yr old Saddle Bronc horses. $300 entry. $2,000 added.

3 yr old bulls. $400 entry. $2,000 added.

4 yr old bulls. $500 entry. $2,000 added.

Cowboys. $100 entry. $500 added. 

80% payout with buckles to class winners.

For bull entries please sign up at the Western States Bucking Bull Association.

Local lodging in Fort Benton includes the Grand Union Hotel, the Pioneer Lodge, or campsites at the Chouteau County Fairgrounds. Great Falls is the next closest town, approximately 30 miles, with plenty of hotels. Please contact Patricia at 406.733.5163 if you need help locating accommodations.

Friday night, Sept. 7th is a contractors appreciation supper at the historic Mercantile building in Highwood, MT. Come fill your belly, meet your event producers, and pick up your contractors packets. 6pm cocktail hour with 7pm supper. 

​

Bring your own water tanks and feed. Water on site. Grass hay available for sale in small squares. 

​

If you are interested in being a food or merchandise vendor please call Patricia at 406.733.5163. Booth rates are VERY reasonable. The evening performance is ticketed and will offer a stellar crowd to promote your merchandise, artwork, or delicious vittles.

Spectators:

Tickets are available for sale at multiple locations in Great Falls and Fort Benton or at our Whiskey Bent, Inc. online store.
